Founder of the clinic, Hadyn Peacock holds a B.S. in both Philosophy and Music Theory from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College, Boulder, CO. He is a licensed acupuncturist in Colorado and is also board certified as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Hadyn’s training included acupuncture, Chinese herbal prescriptions, and western pharmacology and pathology. Hadyn’s clinical rotations included autoimmune diseases, oncology, OB/GYN, and internal medicine (acupuncture and Chinese herbs).
He is a general healthcare provider and also has specialty area interests that include the following:
Prior to practicing at The Chinese Medicine Clinic, Hadyn was vice president of Information Services at Krames StayWell, providing consumers with patient education and health communication tools to make good healthcare decisions. He is excited to now be working one-on-one with clients to provide Longmont acupuncture and Chinese medicine with the highest quality possible.
In his free time, Hadyn enjoys cycling with his wife Christine, taking Blues guitar lessons and composing music, and enjoying the outdoors with his two therapy beagles, Bella and Jonesy.
Jonesy and Bella are certified therapy dogs. They both were adopted through Colorado Beagle Rescue in 2010. Though they spend most of their day in the comfort of their living room or chasing squirrels in their backyard, sometimes our clients will find wagging tails greeting them when they come for their treatments at the clinic.
Jonesy and Bella’s experience and certifications include the following:
Christine Dominick has more than 15 years experience in healthcare communications and marketing at the medical journal CHEST and Krames StayWell, the leader in patient communications within the U.S. She is committed to helping educate Longmont and Boulder county residents about the power of acupuncture and Chinese medicine.
Christine is also a former three-time national champion and 2004 Olympic Trials participant in women’s fencing and continues to compete on the Division 1 level. As a competitive athlete, without the services of The Chinese Medicine Clinic, she would not be able to continue her high level of training and competition aspirations.
